Join our dynamic team working on projects for county road commission trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for crafting truck body parts using precision measurement tools and reading blueprints. You will cut materials using plasma cutters or shears, and utilize punch presses, drills, saws, and other tools to fabricate and weld (MIG or ARC) equipment. This role requires daily communication with the shop manager to ensure seamless operations.

Fabricate truck body parts using measurement tools and blueprints.

Perform material cutting using plasma cutters or shears.

Utilize punch press, drills, saws, and other tools for fabrication.

Execute MIG or ARC welding tasks.

Communicate regularly with the shop manager.

5 years of experience in MIG welding.

5 years of experience welding on steel material.

1 year of experience in reading blueprints.

5 years of experience using tools such as cutting tools, impact wrenches, or torches.

Mechanically inclined.

Weld Certifications or schooling.

Experience with trucks or trailers.

This is a 1st shift position from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with current work hours extending to 9.5-hour days Monday through Friday, and two Saturdays per month from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The facility employs approximately 27 team members, providing a collaborative and engaging workplace.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
