As a seasonal, Experienced Tax Professional , you will serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, supported by advanced tax training to help you be successful.

What you'll bring to the team

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools - video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services
• Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment*
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools - video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct client tax interviews and gather necessary information
• Prepare complete and accurate individual tax returns; handle complex returns where applicable
• Deliver excellent client service and support
• Provide IRS support and assist with notices as appropriate
• Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a high-performing culture

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Pay range: $16.50/Hr. - $80.00/Hr.
