Executive Chef

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and skilled culinary leader for The Pass in Union City, CA. This Executive Chef will be responsible for leading a team of culinarians in producing high quality, consistent, and appealing meals for a broad spectrum of customers in a unique environment.

What You'll Do

- Implements and coordinates the culinary function.

- Directs and trains cooks and utility workers.

- Ensures food preparation and production meets operational standards.

- Manages catering and retail areas.

- Customer and client satisfaction.

- Financial management to include food cost and labor management.

- Manages food and physical safety programs.

What You Bring

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards
• A strong culinary background and Culinary Degree or Certification with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a culinary staff
• Experience in high volume food production
• A focus on food safety/sanitation and physical safety
• Healthcare experience is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years.

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
