Job Description
Commercial General Contracting Company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking a talented and dynamic Estimator to join our esteemed team.
Responsibilities:

Diligently analyze design drawings and specifications by trade and compile comprehensive bid packages.
Engage with Subcontractors and Vendors to procure pricing for all scopes of work, ensuring thorough coverage.
Evaluate Subcontractor and Vendor proposals to validate scope coverage and minimize the risk of scope gaps or double coverage.
Conduct meticulous quantity take-offs, analysis, and pricing for various construction scopes, including General Conditions.
Collaborate with the team in developing detailed scopes of work.
Take the lead in preparing a thorough estimate by scope division and produce a comprehensive Contract/Bid Proposal Package.
Participate actively in presentations and project interviews.
Undertake preliminary scheduling of project construction.
Assist the CEO as the primary point of contact and lead person for pre-construction efforts on all project types.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Estimator with an established General Contractor.
Proficiency in Conceptual Estimating and some Pre-construction Services.
Familiarity with pricing methods including Construction Manager at Risk, Design/Build, and Hard Bid.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Project.
Experience with Procore Bidding Tools is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings and Specifications.
