The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our preconstruction efforts, focusing on SOE projects throughout Dallas and the wider Texas region. This is a strategic role that blends technical expertise with commercial acumen, offering the chance to shape bid strategies and influence project outcomes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating function for SOE projects, including soldier pile walls, secant pile walls, sheet piling, tiebacks, and underpinning.
• Review geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business development teams to prepare competitive bids.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines.
• Present estimates and value engineering options to senior leadership and clients.
• Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activity to inform bid strategy.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in estimating geotechnical or foundation construction projects, ideally with a focus on SOE.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, excavation support systems, and construction sequencing.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, or similar).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, with flexibility to travel across Texas as needed.
