Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Norcross, GA. The successful candidate will apply their engineering knowledge in a hands-on environment, working on a variety of projects to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations for engineering solutions.
- Support the creation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure mechanical systems and components perform as intended.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management, to support project goals and timelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to mechanical systems and components.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance in all engineering activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for creating detailed mechanical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex engineering challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
