Entry-Level Mammography Technologist

Position Overview:

As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our Radiology Department. The position involves performing mammography and DEXA studies, utilizing advanced equipment under the supervision of experienced medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize radiological equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
• Conduct mammography and DEXA studies following approved protocols.
• Manage records and images within the designated Radiology Information and PACS systems.
• Assume additional duties as assigned, provided you have the proper training and experience.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of 40 hours of mammography training approved by ARRT, including 25 supervised exams.
• Must obtain ARRT (M) certification within one year of eligibility.
• MRT-General Certificate and BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of mammography quality assurance measures and accreditation requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of mammography or relevant radiologic experience.

Compensation and Benefits:
