In our 1:1 ABA setting, you’ll engage directly with children (ages 18 months to 8 years), utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. Key Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by interpreting treatment plans and executing therapeutic interventions, collecting data, documenting progress, and integrating supervisor feedback during observation sessions.
• Foster child development through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities for early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years).
• Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance treatment effectiveness, safety, and create a joyful working environment.
• Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation, adapting activities to keep up with their energy, whether it's dancing, reading, or playing.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders (e.g., families, peers, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address individual needs.

Job Requirements

• Physical capability to lift and manage children in a dynamic environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving swiftly to maintain engagement and safety.
• Maintain therapy-friendly environments ensuring play areas are tidy, organized, and nurturing for children.
• Multitasking skills to address various tasks, decisions, or conversations simultaneously while ensuring safety and prioritization.
• Team support through collaboration as a cohesive unit across centers; this may require travel to nearby locations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Complete the RBT certification process within the first 20 days of employment by passing a comprehensive training curriculum, a hands-on competency assessment, and the board exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $15.00 - $22.50
• Bachelors: $15.00 - $24.00
• Masters: $16.00 - $26.00

Entry-level candidates earn their first raise upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.

Experience in these areas is an advantage!

• Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
• Mental health professionals and advocates (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Experience as camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields
• Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• A desire to join a supportive, team-focused culture
