Enterprise Act Engineer

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is offering the position of Enterprise Act Engineer III in Arlington, Virginia. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting global and enterprise companies running cloud-based mission-critical applications, systems, services, and features. You will work directly with engineering teams and leading technologists to utilize transformational technologies for a flawless customer experience. Responsibilities include managing enterprise accounts, overseeing support cases, and assisting customers with strategy, project planning, launch, and ongoing operations. You will also complete analysis and provide periodic reviews of operational performance to customers. Additionally, you will provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning, recommend new offerings for company architecture, and offer proactive advice through all phases of the implementation life cycle. Participation in customer requested meetings and utilization of all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of concerns is also required.

Position requirements include a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Support Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation is equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) designing, developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and managing large-scale, distributed applications; (2) performing system administration in a Linux or Windows environment; and (3) conducting computer networking, scripting, and automation. Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
