Hybrid 1: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Employment Specialist LTSS-FC is responsible for maintaining relationships with employers, workforce development and understand the needs of transitioning youth seeking employment. Provides support and health plan information service links to the care management teams.

How you will make an impact:

• Provide working knowledge of state and local employment programs as well as policies and resources for child welfare and youth exiting foster care.
• Manages external clients facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
• Coordinates training related to external client facing program.
• Identify innovations and develop partnerships to address local and system workforce needs.
• Partner with other foster care roles to explore adult education, high school completion, job training/apprenticeships, employers and alternate learning platforms and programs to ensure member access.
• Develop and report on quality measures related to internal and external workforce programs.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum 3 years of workforce development programs experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Experience in LTSS or Foster Care community preferred.
