Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa. Starting on Oct 27, 2025, this role offers 12-hour shifts from 12pm to 12am, three times per week, with every third weekend required and the potential for a fourth shift if desired. Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information

• Iowa state license required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Board certifications accepted: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC), Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC), Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
• Previous emergency medicine experience preferred
