Opportunity:
Board Certification Eligible - Emergency Department NP/PA
Job Details:
• Coverage needed for ED (NP or PA) for blocks of shifts from December 24 - January 3rd
• All shifts are 10-hour shifts from 12pm-10pm
• Orientation required the day prior (December 23rd)
• Opportunity for ongoing coverage beyond initial assignment
• Work in a Level 3 trauma center seeing an average of 36 patients per day (total - not by APP alone)
• Average of 3 admissions per day
• Collaborative practice with ED Physicians and ED RN support staff
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient care
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• BLS certification required
• Must be licensed in Michigan - IMLC not accepted as Michigan will no longer participate in the Expedited Medical Compact Licensure as of March 2026
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days depending on provider document submission speed
• Temporary privileges may be granted in needed situations
• Travel and lodging provided if available, with facility lodging when possible
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
