Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive pay scale ranging from $24 to $27 per hour for EMT Basic to Advanced based on training, education, and experience. Paramedics can earn between $28 - $31 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible to partake in a bonus pool of up to 4%. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical coverage, PTO, a 401K match of up to 5%, and tuition reimbursement. Position Overview:

We are seeking an EMT Basic, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic for our Plasma Donation Center. Note: Salary is adjusted according to licensure and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical history to ensure donor suitability.
• Establish rapport with donors for high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and staff information.
• Educate donors about potential hazards and health issues.
• Evaluate and address donor injuries and adverse events.
• Conduct assessments of any illness or medication history.
• Assist in the training of employees.
• Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Job Requirements:

Must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. A current CPR certification is required.

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to work in both standing and sitting positions for extended periods.
• Capacity to bend and twist as needed.
• Frequent hand movements and ability to manipulate objects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to relate information sensitively.
• Must be comfortable in a plasma center environment.
• Willing to adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary.

This role involves potential exposure to biological fluids. You may work in cold conditions below 32 degrees Fahrenheit while performing tasks in plasma freezers. Personal protective equipment is required.
