Position Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Emergency Dispatcher to join our Communications Center team. In this vital role, you'll be the lifeline connecting patients, medical teams, and aircraft. You'll coordinate emergency medical transports, manage real-time radio communications, and ensure every mission runs smoothly and safely from the initial call to patient delivery.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and triage requests for air and ground medical transport.
• Communicate with flight and medical crews using complex multi-channel radio systems.
• Perform constant flight following and track aircraft per FAA and company policies.
• Accurately document patient and transport information in the communications database.
• Collaborate with aviation, medical, and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with hospitals, first responders, and other agencies.
• Handle notifications and reporting in emergency or incident situations.
• Generate and follow up on price quotes for long-distance medical transports.
• Support the billing process by providing accurate and timely account information.
• Attend team meetings, continuing education sessions, and ongoing training.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• EMS or air medical communications experience preferred
• Experience in public relations, customer service, or healthcare billing/insurance a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to learn additional software programs
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills especially under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to think quickly, remain calm, and make sound decisions in high-stress situations
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
• This position is designated Safety Sensitive under the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
