Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Pay: $25/hr

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SMT Operators to join our team at a premier electronics manufacturing facility in San Jose, CA. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong experience in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and surface mount technology, who are committed to precision and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate SMT equipment to assemble electronic components onto PCBs.
• Perform manual system assembly using torque drivers and various hardware.
• Execute soldering tasks (e.g., resistors, transistors, transmitters onto circuit boards).
• Conduct functional testing and Pass/Fail analysis on completed systems.
• Utilize computer systems for load functions and back flush operations.
• Retrieve and manage materials from flow racks as needed.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience operating SMT machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid understanding of PCBA processes, surface mount technology, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficiency in Englishmust be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend instructions and documentation clearly.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• Must be comfortable handling small parts with precision.
• Must be comfortable reading and following blueprints and written instructions.
• Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
