Main Responsibilities:

• Support design and installation of electrical projects and systems.
• Collaborate with team members in the setup and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Engage with operators, supervisors, and engineers to plan equipment layout and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Evaluate and standardize equipment specifications.
• Work with voltage levels up to 480 and 4160, including wiring Variable Frequency Drives.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals for effective installation.
• Conduct instrumentation calculations and configure parameters.
• Modify electronic devices and circuits to align with specifications.
• Ensure proper setup and testing of industrial equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to preemptively address issues.
• Inspect industrial equipment components for installation quality and defects.
• Advise on safety concerns regarding equipment operations.
• Maintain detailed equipment logs for performance and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults using test equipment and software.
• Be prepared to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Follow the National Electric Code and Cargill standards for safety.
• Assist management with external electrical project oversight for quality compliance.
• Engage in ongoing training and skill development.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and complete housekeeping tasks.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication within the facility.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to operate machinery and adapt to extreme temperatures.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong commitment to safety.
• Prior experience with electrical maintenance and reading schematics is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code is a plus.
• State of Nebraska Apprentice or Journeyman license, or equivalent.
• A 2-year degree in electrical systems or related fields is preferred.
