This Engineering role is available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer levels. Please see the minimum qualifications for each level below.

Expected Salary Range:

• Entry-Level - $85,000
• Mid-Level - $90,000 - $110,000
• Senior Level - $117,000 - $143,000

Primary Purpose of Position

This position involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. As a technical expert, you will be responsible for making critical technical decisions and applying comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and practices.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Provide expert technical guidance to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs.
• Consult and offer expertise to identify and solve equipment and system challenges.
• Oversee short-term and long-term engineering programs affecting site operations.
• Execute engineering tasks as directed, applying sound engineering principles.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while adhering to design criteria, practices, and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses for technical projects.
• Propose innovative solutions and equipment to enhance performance and reduce costs while complying with regulations.
• Participate in emergency response and provide departmental coverage as needed.

Minimum Qualifications for Entry-Level E01 Engineer (New Graduate)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear).
• Meet unescorted access requirements through a favorable medical examination.

Minimum Qualifications for Mid-Level E02 Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (same disciplines) with 2 years of nuclear or relevant engineering experience.
• Maintain the necessary access requirements or medical testing according to position duties.

Minimum Qualifications for Senior E03 Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (same disciplines) with 5 years of nuclear or relevant engineering experience.
• Meet the relevant access requirements and medical evaluations based on position responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer Registration.
• Advanced technical degree or related coursework.
