EHS Specialist

Our client, a leader in the spirits production industry, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental Health and Safety department supporting the overall safety and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: 80-90k annually based off of experience

Shift: Flexible shift

What's the Job?

• Support site management to ensure compliance with established standards by regulatory agencies and the global EHS team.
• Review and administer environmental protection, sustainability, occupational safety, and training programs.
• Develop policies and procedures designed to eliminate company losses and reduce impacts.
• Coordinate and execute inspections/audits to detect and correct unsafe conditions.
• Facilitate and supervise training sessions for all company personnel to ensure adherence to EHS protocols.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of EHS experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze trends and conduct effective investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
