ED TECH - CLINICAL SECRETARY

• *Position Overview:**

The ED Tech/Clinical Secretary provides clerical support to the unit, and will also provide clinical services to patients within the scope of their certification.

• *Job Requirements**
• *Minimal Requirements:**

• Acute care and clinical secretary experience
• Successful completion of Emergency Medical Technician program
• Emergency Medical Technician: CA (EMT CA) or Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: CA (EMT-P CA) or Certified Nursing Assistant CA (CNA CA)
• Approved CPR certification through AHA (CT CPR BLS)
• Completion of approved Unit Clerk class or equivalent
• Must pass Basic EKG test May not be Monitor observer until EKG test is passed within 6 months of employment.
