This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As the Director of Equipment Maintenance, you will oversee the strategic maintenance operations of equipment across the organization, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. Your leadership will drive the improvement of operational performance, cost efficiency, and safety standards while aligning with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies and procedures to enhance performance, longevity, and reliability of automated equipment.
• Oversee the management of all maintenance schedules, ensuring timely and effective execution, measured against clearly defined metrics for success.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, driving towards permanent improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Manage the maintenance budgets, working with maintenance managers to optimize resource allocation and reducing unnecessary expenditures.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of equipment performance, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all maintenance activities.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement in maintenance processes through the adoption of the latest technologies and practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of maintenance management systems and practices.
• Proven track record of improving equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Certification in Maintenance Management or Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency in maintenance software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.

Compensation Range for: WA applicants $197,247.00-$276,144.75. Other site ranges may differ.
