Job Summary And Qualifications

The Director of Creative Strategy & Ideation reports to the Sr. Director of Creative Strategy and plays a pivotal role in shaping creative strategies that align with HCA Healthcare’s business and marketing goals. This role involves leading concept development, crafting creative copy, and ideating brand activations across internal and external campaigns. Collaboration, strategic thinking, and brand consistency are central to the position.

What you will do in this role:

• Lead creative concept development for diverse initiatives.
• Develop copy for marketing campaigns (brand, recruitment, reputation, etc.).
• Ideate environmental and experiential brand activations.
• Collaborate with design teams on multi-platform campaigns.
• Participate in strategy meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Use data and KPIs to inform messaging and tone.
• Pitch creative ideas to stakeholders and executives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, design, creative development or similar fields
• Seven+ years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, creative studio, production company, in-house marketing team or similar entities.
• Extensive history of creative ideation for a wide variety of marketing initiatives, including brand and consumer campaigns, internal communications, executive events, experiential, environmental and interactive activations and more.
• Knowledge of all aspects of creative production, including video, photo, graphic design and motion graphics
• Proven experience in leading creative teams for large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking with a flair for storytelling and brand development.
• Working knowledge of production and collaboration applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Frame.io, Figma, Workfront and similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as project management applications such as Workfront.
• Occasional overnight travel is required.
