Job Summary

As the Catering Director, you will be responsible for leading and aligning all aspects of catering at Intuit-including Core Catering, C-Suite Catering, Tier 1 Event Catering, and beyond. You will oversee managers, directors, and hourly staff to ensure a seamless and consistent guest experience across all levels of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and cohesive leadership across all catering operations ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with Intuit's culture and brand standards
• Drive the development and execution of seasonal catering menus, collaborating closely with culinary, marketing, and operations teams to ensure innovation, guest appeal, and brand alignment
• Coordinate and oversee both internal and external catering events, from planning through execution
• Develop and maintain the catering marketing plan, including comprehensive event planning services and detailed menu development
• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor catering staff; support the growth of managers, directors, and hourly team members through coaching, in-service training, and performance development
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive work environment that supports belonging and professional growth
• Ensure operational excellence for all catering functions, including labor and food cost control, food preparation, transportation, setup, execution, and post-event breakdown

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 2 years in management (preferably Catering Management)
• Proven experience in booking, menu development, contract pricing, and sourcing temporary help and equipment
• Strong financial acumen with experience in labor and food cost management
• Ability to lead at multiple organizational levels-directors, managers, and hourly staff-while maintaining a culture of inclusion and excellence
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and support all aspects of food preparation, service, and cleanup
