We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Business Development to lead our expansion efforts within the off-highway and truck industry. This pivotal role focuses on harnessing and increasing our market share by strategizing, navigating, and capitalizing on opportunities within this specialized market. The ideal candidate will bring a dynamic blend of strategic vision and practical sales execution skills to drive our company's objectives forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement comprehensive strategic plans to enhance business growth in the off-highway and truck sectors.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by establishing influential connections with key industry figures.
• Sustain and expand a robust industry network to facilitate development opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead and inspire a sales team to develop innovative sales tactics that achieve and exceed revenue objectives.
• Work collaboratively with different internal teams to ensure that client requirements are met with the highest standards of service.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Design and deliver persuasive business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
• Evaluate sales performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for upper management.
• Act as a brand ambassador at various industry-specific events to boost brand visibility and service promotion.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in sales and business development, specifically in the engineering service industry within the off-highway and truck markets.
• Demonstrable experience in managing top-tier clients such as John Deere, Vermeer, Caterpillar, and Komatsu.
• A proven history of surpassing sales targets and driving business growth.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the off-highway and truck industry and its key players.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or an advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Additional certifications related to sales or business development.
• Experience in international markets is highly preferable.
• Track record of launching new products or services within the industry.
• Fluency in multiple languages to engage with a diverse client base.
