Director, Finance Clinical Enterprise

Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President, Finance Clinical, Academic & Research, the Director, Finance Clinical Enterprise, will lead a team of finance professionals with the primary responsibility to work closely with senior leadership and Corporate Finance departments to monitor financial performance. Responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial reports and communication of financial information to the entity's operational leadership, senior executives, and board of directors. Lead all efforts in preparing the entity's annual budget and continually monitor performance and forecast actual activity throughout the year. Review and approve major capital transactions. Oversee internal controls, identify issues and risks. Has a gross revenue scope that exceeds $1 billion dollars. Estimated salary range for this position is $137846.35 - $179200.26 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• Bachelors.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare industry, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in dealing with operational leadership, and presenting financial information to senior executives/boards of directors.
• Experience in preparing budgets, financial analyses surrounding return on investments and approving financial transactions.
• Experience with hospital financial operations (revenue cycle, cost drivers, key performance indicators), financial reporting (including Medicare cost reports), and product/service line analysis.
• Proficient and effective use of financial and decision support software applications.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to lead, articulate objectives and goals, make recommendations and influence management behavior.
