Process Technician [Direct Hire]

As a Process Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes while adhering to applicable laws and regulations. You will be a role model in work ethic, safety, and quality standards, coordinating and implementing plant improvement events, and maintaining essential materials and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement plant improvement events, working directly with the Director of Manufacturing Services.
• Manage shift coverage and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse & Materials Supervisor and Purchasing Department to maintain production supplies.
• Lead and attend various meetings with employees and management.
• Ensure materials comply with quality standards and conduct quality inspections.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret manuals, diagnose problems, and make process adjustments.
• Set up machines and molds according to specified parameters and quality standards.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, including electric meters.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and production area.
• Promote strong teamwork and coordinate employees in assigned areas.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with molding machines, mold maintenance, setting, changing, and repair.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong leadership and teamwork orientation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to train new employees and provide effective coaching.
• Experience in conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Capability to manage the flow of materials to production.
• Willingness to operate forklifts safely and become certified.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr. Company offers benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with matching, paid time off, and a referral program, with some sources also mentioning life insurance and paid breaks.

This is a fully onsite position in Conover, NC.
