Sodexo is hiring a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our innovative team at Vail Health in beautiful Vail, Colorado. Vail Health features the world's most advanced mountain healthcare system with stunning views. This position is based at the new state-of-the-art 28 bed Behavioral Health Inpatient Hospital in Edwards, CO.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Provide inpatient care at Vail Health Hospital and Precourt Healing Center, with rotating weekends, and holiday coverage as needed.
• Design and lead nutrition education groups for adults and adolescents.
• Assist with educating healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and food service staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
