Shift: Days, Rotating Weekends

The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Gordon

The role you'll contribute: Under the direct supervision of the dietitian and director, assists in the preparation, set up and serving of meals. Operates cash register, cleans work areas and maintains safety standards. May be assigned to any of the following areas: salad preparation, and sanitation. Must have ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions; must have basic math skills.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Other duties as assigned.
• Oversee daily foodservice operations across caf, patient services, and sanitation areas, ensuring timely meal delivery, clean environments, and consistent service quality.
• Prepare and assist with food and beverage production, cold prep, tray assembly, and patient meal delivery, adapting to operational needs throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards by monitoring sanitation practices, organizing work areas, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Engage with patients and caf customers through rounding to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with food quality and service.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

• High School Grad or Equivalent Required
• Previous food service experience Preferred
• Certified Food Safety Manager (CFSM) Preferred
