Torque by Ryder is Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Diesel/Automotive Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Tampa, FL

• Technician Positions Pay Each Week
n
• Hourly Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 Based off experience
n
• Ability to earn additional monthly performance incentive
n
• Schedule: Flexible 40-hour work week (weekend premiums apply)
n
• Fuel Card and Company Cell Phone provided
n
• For mobile technicians, work site service vehicle will be provided
n

Requirements

n
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
n
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
n
• Basic tools, required
n
• Requires demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:n
  n
  • Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work
  n
n
• Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred
n
• NonCommercial Driver License CLASS E, preferred
n
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
n
• Other State driver's license, as required
n
• One (1) year or more federal PM certification requirements through any combination of classroom training or work experience totaling 1 year
n
• One (1) year or more mechanical experience working offsite at customer locations preferred
n
• Able to take home assigned mobile service truck, as applicable, and secure vehicle and contents
n
• Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles
n
• Proven hands-on mechanic, customer service, and
