Aerotek Aviation is currently hiring skilled A&P Mechanics to join our client's dynamic repair station's newest location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our client specializes in the maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of Corporate Jets - primarily Gulfstream and Bombardier models. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be performing various maintenance and repair tasks on Gulfstream, Challenger and various other corporate jets related to heavy maintenance, calendar inspections, annual / 100-inspections, pre-buy inspections, modifications, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy maintenance on various aircraft, including inspections, overhauls, and repairs.
• Conduct phase maintenance and troubleshoot issues as required.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with FAA regulations and company policies.
• Utilize personal tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed.

Essential Skills:

• Possess an A&P License.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy maintenance.
• Experience with corporate jets such as Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger is preferred.
• Familiarity with Gulfstream models G6, G400, and G500 is advantageous.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $57.00/hr.
