Diesel Technician

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Diesel Technician to join us in South Cairo, NY .

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm & Saturdays as needed.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs and inspections, safety checks, and diagnosis of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel vehicles.
• Utilize vehicle computer systems to diagnose failures and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules.
• Respond efficiently to road calls for emergency repairs.
• Review and manage repairs noted on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software.
• Test drive trucks post-service and repairs to ensure quality.
• Assist team members with repairs as needed to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain professionalism in interactions with our drivers.
• Keep a clean, safe working area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned to support team objectives.

What We Look For:

• Experience with diesel vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• A basic tool set to carry out your duties.
• Hydraulic experience is a plus!
