Diesel Service Technician

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural and construction machinery including tractors, combines, excavators, loaders, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with service advisors and the parts department to ensure timely repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in diesel, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in diesel engine repair and assembly.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and preventive maintenance.
• Experience in AG service tech, combine repair, and tractor repair.
• Familiarity with heavy-duty equipment repair, engine construction, and AG equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair (agriculture or construction).
• Technical diploma or certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
