Responsibilities

  Perform preventive maintenance and repair on industrial diesel equipment

  Troubleshoot and address mechanical issues effectively to prevent downtime.

  Work with diesel engines, generators, and air compressors.

  n
n
• n

  Be comfortable starting in the shop and transitioning to a Road Technician role after six months.

• n

  Be on rotational call to service equipment as needed.

  n
n

Essential Skills

• n

  Experience with generators, diesel engines, and air compressors.

  n

• n

  Strong knowledge of diesel mechanics, including engines and transmissions.

  n

• n

  Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.

• n

  Proficiency in using hand tools for mechanical repairs.

  n

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  Experience in fleet and diesel maintenance.

  Own personal tools for the job.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. After transitioning to a permanent role, you will be on rotational call to handle urgent repairs. The role initially starts in the shop with the opportunity to become a Road Technician.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
