E.L. Harvey & Sons is excited to announce immediate openings for skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our dynamic team!

Location: Westborough, MA

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting at 3 PM / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturdays as required.

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting repairs and inspections, performing safety checks, and diagnosing and repairing components of diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
• Using vehicle diagnostic tools to interpret electronic failure modes and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules.
• Responding to emergency repair requests on the road.
• Reviewing and completing repairs noted in driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Documenting necessary repairs using our fleet maintenance software.
• Test driving vehicles post-service to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborating with team members to facilitate repairs as needed.
• Maintaining respectful and professional interactions with drivers.
• Ensuring a clean, safe work area compliant with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Executing other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise in diesel vehicle diagnostics, including preventative maintenance and repair.
• A basic tool set.
• A Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Hydraulic experience is a plus.
