Remote: No, on-site

Salary: $25.00/hour to $33.00/hour based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday (10-hour shifts)

Hours: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with potential overtime

Required: ASE certification or equivalent accreditation, preferred.

Position Summary:

As a Diesel Mechanic at our facilities you'll maintain and repair diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment used across our job sites. You'll be responsible for ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and compliant, playing a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on diesel vehicles and facility heavy equipment

  n

  Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

  n

• n

  Ability to conduct DOT inspections to ensure fleet compliance, a plus

  n

• n

  Maintain clear and accurate service and repair records

  n
n
• n

  Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate vehicle readiness

  n
n

Qualifications:

n
• n

  Minimum 2 years of real-world experience as a diesel mechanic (construction fleet preferred)

  n

• n

  Working knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems

  n
n
• n

  CDL and/or ASE certifications preferred, but not required

  n
n
• n

  Ability to read manuals and interpret schematics

  n
n
• n
