Join our dynamic Diagnostic Radiology team as a Medical Imaging Technician I, where you will play a vital role in creating diagnostic images that assist in patient evaluation and care. Under the guidance of our Medical Director, Section Head, and Radiologists, you will ensure a safe and positive experience for patients while practicing the latest imaging techniques and standards.

• Utilize your imaging skills effectively in your specific modality.
• Contribute to creating a professional and progressive atmosphere within the Imaging department.
• Assist Physicians in conducting procedures in your designated area.
• Act as a mentor to new staff and students, fostering their professional growth.
• Support the Imaging department in maintaining essential accreditations.
• Accurately enter patient data into our computer systems.
• Verify images and patient information for accuracy before submission to PACS.
• Obtain peripheral IV access and administer contrast material when required.
• Be involved in additional tasks as needed.

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science - required.
• Diploma in X-Ray - required.
• Graduate of an accredited professional imaging program - required.
• Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and department policies, as well as New York state standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in providing patient care tailored to the age and unique needs of each patient.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire - required.
• Hold a current New York State registration or possess a limited practice permit - required.
