Responsibilities

Supervise clinical activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.

• Coordinate staff scheduling and training activities.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care. Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives.
• Serve as resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
