Delivery/Pick Up Driver

The **Adecco Permanent Recruitment team** is recruiting on behalf of our client in **Metro Detroit** for an experienced **Delivery-Pick Up Driver** . This is a **full-time, direct hire** opportunity offering up to **$25/hour** , depending on experience. **Position Summary** As a Delivery-Pick Up Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating a 26' box truck to complete timely deliveries and pick-ups across designated routes. You will interact with customers and team members while ensuring the safe transport of goods and maintaining vehicle condition. **Key Responsibilities**

• Follow best practices for **road and loading safety**
• Maintain clear communication with **dispatch, customers, and internal teams**
• Ensure on-time **deliveries and pick-ups** , making multiple stops daily
• Navigate a variety of delivery routes throughout the Metro Detroit area
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
• Track shipments, obtain required **signatures** , and complete delivery documentation
• Perform **basic vehicle maintenance** and keep vehicle clean and orderly
• Operate small hand tools and **various forklifts** as needed
• Follow **emergency and safety protocols** when required
• Support other tasks and duties as assigned

**Requirements**

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be **at least 21 years old**
• Valid **Chauffeur's License** required ( **CDL a plus** )
• Minimum **3 years of experience** driving a **26' box truck**
• Comfortable driving and working in **varied weather conditions**
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
