As a member of our team, you will provide one-on-one ABA support to children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical and evidence-based techniques in a nurturing center-based setting. Your Role as a Behavior Therapist:
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy tailored to meet each child's unique needs by following treatment plans, collecting data, and collaborating closely with supervisors.
- Encourage the development of children through fun, engaging therapeutic activities that hold their interest.
- Collaborate effectively with our dedicated team to create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
- Engage with children through playful activities such as running, dancing, reading, and using imaginative play.
- Communicate positively with parents, team members, and supervisors to celebrate progress and coordinate activities.
Job Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift children up to 30 lbs, bend, crouch, and move quickly to engage with young children.
- Therapy Environment: Maintain tidy and conducive play areas for therapy sessions.
- Multitasking Skills: Balance various tasks and decisions in real-time while ensuring safety.
- Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues across different centers as needed.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Education: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
You will need to complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of your employment, which includes a 40-hour training program and passing a board exam.

Compensation Based on Education:
- High School/Associates: $16.20 - $23.50
- Bachelor's: $17.50 - $27.00
- Master's: $19.00 - $28.00
Entry-level candidates can earn their first raise after obtaining RBT certification within approximately 21 days.
Experience in these fields can be beneficial:
- Childcare roles such as nannies, babysitters, preschool teachers, or tutors.
- Mental health professionals or advocates.
- Camp counselors, volunteers, or educators.
- Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields.
- Direct support or life skills assistants.
- A strong desire to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
