TEKsystems is looking for Data Center Technicians looking to grow within a large organization in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Ideally looking for people with the experience below, but also open to less experienced individuals as lower level experience positions will be coming out soon. Seeking a team based out of the South Eastern Wisconsin area who will be focused on GPU cluster deployments within Mt Pleasant, WI. Multiple resources across all 4 core shifts (A/B/Days/Nights) on a 3x4x12 schedule
1. 3-5+ years of DC Tech Experience (Break/Fix, Deployment, troubleshooting)
2. GPU Deployment Experience (Huge nice to have, not required)

Lead Technician- 5+ years of Lead or Management experience
Level 4 Technician- 5+ years of dedicated DC Experience Required. Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment
Level 3 Technician- 3+ years of DC experience

*Summary:*
Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission Run/Label/Stage Power & Networking Cables DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning) Follows procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Prepares, stages, sets up, and performs basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, standard procedures, and with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Physical audits of datacenter assets Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Required: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance
* Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program
* Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs
* Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports
*Qualifications:*
* Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training preferred
* 5+ years of DC experience required, open to all experiences as lower level positions will become available soon
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
* Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time

*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $44.00/hr.
