Staffmark is hiring a Customer Care Specialist in Crystal Lake, IL. If you have a knack for technical support, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00/hr, depending on experience
Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Some weekend availability may be required

What You'll Do:

Respond to phone and email inquiries about product specifications, technical issues, and order status
Serve as the main point of contact between customers (e.g., plant engineers) and internal teams such as engineering, sales, and logistics
Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system
Coordinate shipping, special order requests, and resolve delivery or logistics issues (e.g., returns, customs delays)
Use manuals and engineering documentation to guide customers through installation and configuration
Support devices like pressure and temperature transmitters (APT/ATT-series); escalate advanced issues when needed
Maintain detailed CRM logs of interactions, solutions, and follow-ups
Generate internal reports highlighting customer feedback, common issues, and service trends
Provide customer insights to engineering and product teams
Participate in training sessions to stay informed on product updates and technical enhancements
