Location: New York, New York
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CT imaging, excellent technical skills, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:

CT Imaging: Perform accurate and high-quality CT scans using advanced imaging equipment, following established protocols and ensuring diagnostic clarity.
Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and addressing concerns throughout the imaging process.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues and ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
Documentation: Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and procedural details in the electronic medical record system (e.g., EPIC).
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety standards, including radiation protection, infection control, and hospital regulations, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with relevant imaging equipment required.
Education and Licensure:
- Valid radiologic technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
- Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in performing CT imaging procedures, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Schedule:
- Training: Two weeks, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, including EPIC training.
- Regular Shifts: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM with alternating weekends and holiday coverage required.
Other Requirements: In-person interviews required.
