The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview :
Manages the technical and operational aspects of the department for efficient, cost-effective and timely performance of diagnostic test results. Assume responsibilities for procedural and system controls, problem-solving, teaching, coaching, and supervising. Maintains all necessary QC/QA and documents required by accreditation agencies. Maintains continuing education credits. Acts as the Manager in the absence of the Manager.
Qualifications :
Required :
- High School graduate
- Completion of an approved Radiology Technology program that meets the requirements set by the ARRT and the NJ State DEP
Preferred :
- 1 - 2 years' experience as a staff technologist including at least one year of CT experience
Certifications and Licenses Required :
- Must be licensed by the NJ State DEP and the ARRT
- CT registry eligible within 6 months of employment
Scheduling Requirements :
- Evening shift
- Part Time
Essential Functions :
- Day Logs for Pacs, daily
- Monthly staff meetings
- Assist Radiologists and Surgeons as needed
- Follows up with Manager and Director in a timely manner
- Run's Open orders and Charges out incomplete exams daily
- Directs activities towards full compliance and accreditation with NJ Sate DEP and TJC
- Reviews charts, scripts and referrals and orders with all correct pertinent information
- Consistently plans and administers all technical and personnel aspects to maximize equipment and staff productivity
- Other duties as assigned
