Locums - NP/PA Critical Care / ICU OpportunityLocation: Hershey, PennsylvaniaSetting: HVI CCU (Heart & Vascular Institute Cardiac Critical Care Unit)Assignment Length: ASAP - March 31, 2026License Requirement: Active PA license required (No IMLC accepted) Schedule

Shift: 3 shifts/week (13 hours each)
Hours: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Includes: Nights, weekends, holidays
Call: None
Note:
No guaranteed hours
OT must be pre-approved by Practice Admin
Lunch is unpaid (provider must clock out/in)

Clinical Responsibilities

Daily rounding & patient management
Order entry, admissions, post-op care
Procedures:
Arterial lines
Central lines
Swan-Ganz catheter
IABP removal

Patient census: 8-12 per shift

Bed count: 30 beds in unit

Admission required

Assigned rounding patients

EMR: Cerner

Trauma Level I Requirements

Board Certified NP or PA - Critical Care

Minimum Experience:

Significant recent experience in a cardiac ICU/critical care setting

Must be experienced in managing:

VA & VV ECMO

Impella

LVAD

Cardiac transplant patients

Certifications Required:

ACLS (AHA)

BLS (AHA)
