The Internal Auditor is responsible for assisting the Global Internal Audit team in assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and processes in place at the company and making recommendations for improvement.

Here is what your typical day would look like:

Perform the evaluation of design and operating effectiveness of ICOFR (internal controls over financial reporting)/SOX key controls.

Plan and perform audit mandates assigned (financial, operations, special projects), in accordance with audit standards and internal audit methodology.

Participate in reviewing the Company's different operating processes and suggest modifications designed to increase efficiency, performance, and results.

Participate in the review of systems in place to ensure that they allow for internal controls that are effective and cost-efficient.

Act as a strategic business partner to management regarding internal controls, process and system efficiency and risk management.

Assist in the preparation of audit reports.

Follow-up on the implementation of action plans agreed to in audit.

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

Minimum of 2 years of auditing experience or 3 years of financial accounting experience.

Big 6 firm experience is desirable.

Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance.

An accounting (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation (or in the process of obtaining one of these designation is desirable.

Knowledge of the COSO Framework.

Experience in the retail industry is desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Strong critical thinking, reasoning skills and analytical skills.

Experience with data analytics (e.g., Power BI,Tableau, etc.) is desirable.

Availability to travel up to 15% of the time.
