Unifi seeks an experienced corporate attorney to join its legal team in Atlanta. The primary responsibilities include reviewing customer and vendor contracts and facilitating the contract-review process. The role reports to the Senior Corporate Counsel and involves interaction with senior management and the opportunity to work directly with the Chief Legal Officer on M&A and transactional matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, review, and analyze complex commercial agreements to protect Unifi’s interests and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Collaborate with the Customer Contracts Director on improving contract review processes, templates, and policies.
• Serve as the primary legal escalation point for contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Develop and update policies for contract approval processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Establish metrics for analyzing contract performance within the CLM system.
• Prepare customized contract templates for customers and vendors.
• Advise internal partners on transaction requirements and risks.
• Negotiate contract terms with counsel of customers/vendors.
• Manage outside counsel on legal strategies and reviews.
• Train internal teams on contract policies and processes.
• Assist on other legal matters with the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Counsel.

Qualifications & Skills

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Top-tier law firm training.
• At least 3 years of corporate law experience, including drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts.
• Experience with SaaS, licensing, data privacy, and cybersecurity is a plus.
• In-house experience with contract analytics software like DocuSign is advantageous.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently.
• Experience advising clients and developing pragmatic business solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
