The beautiful Hilton Chicago is looking for their next Cook I to join the talented team! Located in the heart of the windy city, Hilton Chicago is a landmark hotel offering elegance and modern hospitality overlooking Grant Park, Lake Michigan, and Museum Campus. As one of the city's largest hotels, Hilton Chicago provides team members the chance to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment while being part of a world-renowned brand.

The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience, strong culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They should demonstrate commitment to teamwork, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Pay Rate: $27.66 per hour

Shift: Must have a flexible and open availability for both AM and PM shifts

What will I be doing?

As a Cook I, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Prep and execute food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
• Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
