The Construction Manager position will be to manage 25-35 company and franchise projects valued at 20-30 million per year. The position has an emphasis on managing: people; communication; resources; and problems over a large number of high-profile projects. A major component of this position will be managing franchise projects. For some franchise projects, the CM will coach the franchisee through the project. With others, the CM will actually perform the project for the franchisee. This position will also lead 3-4 Construction Specialists spanning across the US.

This position is will support projects in the Western Region of the US, the selected Candidate will preferably sit in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado or Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Coaches franchisees through the execution of their development projects.
• Manages Franchise projects directly.
• The CMs will manage the entire development cycle for Company projects.
• While performing the high number and dollar valued projects, the CMs also have to support the development of the pipeline for the following year.
• Responsible for their own projects and supporting the pipeline for the following year.

What We Expect From You

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering, preferred. High School Diploma/GED required.
• Three years of experience with restaurant roll-out programs
• Two years of experience with remodel programs
• Knowledge of construction processes and techniques, project planning and budgeting, construction materials/specifications, building codes, zoning laws, contracts
• Strong negotiation, communication and management skills
• Heavy travel required, approximately 60% that includes overnight travel

It is expected that you will primarily perform work at Wendy's Restaurants or to other field locations as designated by the Company. When not working at a Wendy's location, you are permitted to work remotely. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is XX% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
