Senior Litigation Associate

Our client is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate, Labor Law and experience in New Jersey will be given preference.

Conducting legal research and analyzing case law to develop effective strategies for resolving construction disputes

Drafting legal briefs, pleadings, and other documentation related to litigation

Representing clients in court and negotiating settlements with opposing parties

Managing a caseload of construction-related litigation matters

Collaborating with teams of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to analyze evidence and prepare for trial

Maintaining accurate and complete case files and legal databases

Participating in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as arbitration or mediation, to resolve construction disputes outside of the courtroom

Advising clients on legal issues related to construction projects, such as zoning and land use regulations, building codes, and insurance coverage.

Mediating and defending builder's liens and debt collections

Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or an LLB from an accredited law school.

License to practice law in New York State, New Jersey also preferred
