Trillium Construction is now seeking a Construction Estimator (Structural Repairs) in Columbus, OH for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity! Experience Level: 25 Years

Trillium Construction is hiring on behalf of a reputable construction firm in Columbus, OH that specializes in structural repair projects, including foundation stabilization, concrete restoration, and other infrastructure improvements. Projects typically range in value from $60K to $400K.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator with 25 years of experience to join a growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for evaluating bid packages, conducting site assessments, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and clients throughout the preconstruction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Perform site visits to gather necessary data for accurate cost projections.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for structural repair projects between $60K and $400K.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in client presentations as needed.
• Maintain estimate documentation and cost history for future reference.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure budget alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize estimating software such as Procore or RSMeans for quantity take-offs, cost tracking, and report generation.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term growth within a stable and respected company. Pay rate is starting at $40/hour.

Qualifications:

• 25 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably with a focus on structural repairs.
• Proven track record estimating projects in the $60K to $400K range.
• Proficiency with Procore and/or RSMeans software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, codes, and methods.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredbut equivalent experience will be considered.
