CNC Swiss Machinist 1st Shift

Pay: $25-35/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Overtime: Occasional Fridays (410 hours)

Location: Climate-controlled, family-owned job shop

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team, working primarily on Nexturn and Hanwha Swiss machines in a dynamic job shop setting. You'll handle full setups, changeovers, and production runs ranging from 50 to 5,000 pieces.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full machine setups and changeovers
• Run complete part processes for varied order sizes
• Complete 210 setups weekly
• Read and interpret defense blueprints and GD&T symbols
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Maintain tight tolerances down to .0001 inch

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of Swiss machine setup experience (Aerospace/Defense preferred)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and comparators

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
